Oriental Orchestra & Choir
Oriental music and dancing has been encouraged at St. Peter’s from as far back as 1956 when Rev. Fr. Marceline Jayakody was a staff member during the Rectorship of Fr. Arthur Fernando. An oriental orchestra was formed and he even introduced Kandyan Dancing at College, under the renowned Kandyan dancer Heenbaba Dharmasiri.

The present Oriental Orchestra & Choir is an invaluable asset to College. They perform all the College Functions and enliven the event with their harmonious voices. The Oriental Orchestra & Choir has achieved great heights in the recent past bringing glory and honour to college.
