Tamil Literary Association
The Tamil Literary Association of St. Peter’s College was first established in 1937 and revived in 1953 and through the past 68 years after the revival the Union has worked with much enthusiasm and played an active role in organizing the Annual Kalai Vizhas and Debate Competitions.
The year 2012 could perhaps be described as the most successful year for the Tamil Literary Association in recent times as after a lapse of 8 years they once again lived up to their reputation by organizing the 13th Inter School Debate Championships with participation of 16 schools.
The Tamil Literary Association won the Most Outstanding Society at the Inter Club Awards Ceremony organised by the Explorers Society.
